There are several ways to open the Search feature in File Explorer.
You can press Control + E or Control + F or F3. All these shortcuts will bring you to the search box where you type in your key words and press Enter. Then Arrow Down through the results.
Key words can be part or all of the filename, or words contained in the file.
If the search is taking too long, try narrowing the search by adding more words or press Escape to stop the search, so that you can view the initial results.
