A couple of weeks ago, we looked at multiple file selection which enables you to copy, move or delete several files at the same time. But we forgot to mention the situation where you want to just select one file. If it is adjacent to other files, we use Arrow keys to select it. But if there is only one file on its own in a folder, this will not work. So you just press Spacebar to select.
And if you are in a folder with many files in it, Spacebar will select the first file.
