To save a Powerpoint Presentation, you can press Control + S to save, give the presentation a name and press Enter. In Office 365, it will automatically save to your OneDrive, but you can change the default Save location in the Powerpoint Options.
I prefer to use F12, which is Save As. This means that I can give it a name and then Tab around the Save As dialogue and choose where to save my presentation, Tab back to the name and press Enter to save. It will save in the Documents folder if I do not choose a save location.
Once your presentation is saved, pressing Control + S will just save the changes.
