Moving and Resizing Pictures on Powerpoint Slides

When you paste a picture into a placeholder on a slide, it is placed in the centre of the placeholder. With the picture selected, there are a few shortcuts that enable you to adjust the picture.
Move a picture around by using the Arrow keys.
To resize a picture, press Shift + Arrow keys.
To rotate a picture, press Alt + Left or Right Arrow key.
Add Control to the two shortcuts above and you can make finer adjustments.
Control + Shift + Arrow keys will gradually resize the picture.
Control + Alt + Arrow keys will gradually rotate the picture.
Note: For screen reader users, the Control + Alt + Arrow keys shortcut will conflict with the table reading shortcut. The other shortcuts work, but screen readers did not give much indication of size changes/position changes at time of testing.
