Making a Call through Microsoft Teams

We mentioned before that we can use the general Teams chat by pressing Control + N to start a new message. Type in the person’s name and choose your contact from the list. Then Tab to the edit box, type your message and press Enter to send.

From within the Chat function, you can also call someone.
So while you are messaging, you can press Control + Shift + C to start an audio call or Control + Shift + U for a video call. These two shortcuts both pretty much do the same thing, and you can choose to put video on or off in the call.
You can hang up by pressing Control + Shift + H.
Note: With a standard Teams setup, you can only make calls to people within your organisation or guests that have been added to your contacts in Teams.
