Left and Right Split Screen in Windows 10

Split screen means having two applications in view at the one time, such as Microsoft Word and a Web page.
One way of working is to switch between applications using the Alt + Tab shortcut. But this means refocusing on a whole window at a time.
In Windows, you can move an application to the left half of the screen by pressing Windows key + Left arrow.
And you can move an application to the right half of the screen by pressing Windows key + Right arrow.
Once you have the first application where you want it, switch to the second application and do the opposite. Your applications are now positioned to the left and right of the screen.
If you are using an application that is in a full screen mode, press Windows + Shift + Enter to restore it to a window, which you can then dock to the left or the right using the shortcuts above.
