Insert Links in Excel Spreadsheets

It can be useful to insert links within an Excel spreadsheet. It can be a link to the Web or a link to open another file. The shortcut is the same for all Microsoft applications: Control + K.
This opens an Edit Hyperlink dialogue where you can paste in the link address, or choose a file to open. And you can also change the Text to Display to be something more straight forward and meaningful, rather than the full link address or full path of the file. This is important for screen reader users that may be reading the link out of context.
To follow a link in an Excel spreadsheet, press the Applications key, or press Shift + F10, then Arrow down to Open Hyperlink, and press Enter.
If you are a JAWS screen reader user, you can get a list of links in a spreadsheet by pressing the JAWS key + F7.
