Tech Easter eggs are hidden features, messages, or functions intentionally placed within software, games and websites by developers. These surprises are meant to be discovered by users, often rewarding those who find them with a fun or unexpected bonus.
There are not so many Easter eggs in the main operating systems these days but there are a number of fun things in Google Search. Lots of visual effects that make your search results appear in different ways. Classic games are available, such as Pacman, Minesweeper and Atari Breakout!
And some handy tools as well. For example, open the Google Search page and type “flip a coin”, then navigate to the first search result for the answer. You can continue flipping by following the link Flip Again – best out of three…?!
