If you have spent time getting a slide just right and you want another just like it, you can create a slide by duplicating another slide.
To duplicate a slide, first press F6 to go to the Slide Thumbnails area. Pressing F6 cycles around the different parts of the Powerpoint window.
Once you are in the Slide Thumbnails area, use the Up and Down Arrows to find the slide you want to duplicate and press Control + D.
Then press F6 again to get back to the Slide area and you can then edit your new slide.
Note: Be sure to give it a different title so you can distinguish it from the other one!
