Aligning Paragraphs in Gmail

When composing a message in Gmail, you may want to change the alignment of a paragraph or a heading. This means arranging the text to the left hand side of the message, to the right hand side of the message or in the middle (centring).
To align to the left, position on the paragraph and press Control + Shift + L.
To align to the right, position on the paragraph and press Control + Shift + R.
To align in the centre, position on the paragraph and press Control + Shift + E.
Note that a heading is a paragraph in itself.
Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox work the same as Google Chrome for indenting paragraphs in Gmail. However, if you use a screen reader, Google Chrome seems to give the best indication of alignment at this point.
