Taking a Screenshot

There is a specific key on the keyboard called the Print Screen key, usually shortened to Prt Scr. When the Print Screen key is pressed, nothing seems to have happened! But a screenshot is taken and placed on the “clipboard”, which you can then paste into a document or email.
To take a picture of the entire screen, just press the Prt Scr key, then open a blank document or email and press Control + V to paste.
To only take a picture of the active window or an error message, position on it and press Alt + Prt Scr. Then open a blank document or email and press Control + V to paste.
The Prt Scr key is positioned to the top right of a standard keyboard, next to the F12 key. But its position varies on laptops. Also note, on some laptops, you may need to press the Fn key, in addition to the Print Screen key.
