Opening Applications

To open an application on your PC, press the Windows key to bring up the Start menu.
Then start typing in the name of the application. You should only need to type in a couple of letters, like CH for Chrome.
Then just press Enter.
If there is a choice of applications, arrow down to the one you need and press Enter.
You can also use this to open recent files, by typing the first few letters of the filename.
It is, in effect, a search tool for all applications and files on your entire PC.
And it works in all current versions of Windows.
